This 2023 Edition of Pin-Up Girls opens with Keep Your Hands Off My Baby by Little Eva, a song composed by the golden songwriters duo Carole King and Gerry Goffin.
Second two tracks are LaVern Baker songs; How Can You Leave A Man Like This performed by Ella Mae Morse, a Texas-born white singer who knocked everyone out with her hip, black-inflected vocals and I Cried A Tear by LaVern herself. Julie London perform Days Of Wine And Roses from Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer (who co-founded Capitol Records). The final track is a cover from Bobby Darins multi-million seller Dream Lover, J’ai Rv performed by the French icon Dalida.
