In honour of the 20th Anniversary of God of War, Sony Interactive Entertainments Santa Monica Studio and Laced Records have united to bring the mighty Greek saga soundtracks to vinyl. The original God of War was a bold statement of intent: challenging, brutally violent, steeped in Greek mythology, and visually spectacular.

A pantheon of composers contributed to the game, fleshing out different areas and character themes. Shimmering Mediterranean atmospheres give way to enormous, tragic themes. Ancient and ethnic instrumentation sit alongside orchestral textures, all working towards the goal of establishing Kratos Greece as a place of magic and mysticism, divine machinations, and bloody conflict.
