Bert Susanka was the frontman of Orange County cult favourites The Ziggens and co-founder of Skunk Records, the launchpad for Sublime. Bert left an indelible mark on the Southern California music scene. A major influence on Sublime and a staple of the regions alt and surf-punk sound, Susanka and The Ziggens shared stages with acts like No Doubt, Slightly Stoopid, Mike Watt, The Vandals, Guttermouth, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and more. Before his passing at 62 after battling ALS, Bert completed an instrumental album that was finished with vocal contributions from friends and longtime collaborators, celebrating his creativity, community, and enduring legacy.
