LP – Vinyl
Radio Silence is a family of songs that address issues of today such as the rise in right wing extremism, global warming and isolation as well as the age-old issues of poverty, love and the meaning of life.
The album opens with a hard hitting folk rock trackServants To The Handbefore taking you on a journey that ebbs and flows dynamically. Poignant folk ballads such asOne More ChanceandThe 1980scontrast with the raw screaming emotions of the likes ofFallen Angeland the title trackRadio Silence. The final trackI Dont Knowis a driving pop punk anthem that closes the album with the same intensity that it opened with.
Blue Fish Diamonds latest album sees their sound move to a new level, yet with continuity from their previous releases through lush arrangements, melodic ear-worms and subtle modulation. Their lyrics continue to offer layers of meaning and while the character of each of the songs is unique, they all clearly carry the DNA of Blue Fish Diamond.
Radio Silence was produced, engineered and mixed by Gavin Glass and mastered by Ivan Jackman. Servants To The Hand was written by Jim Murphy & Mark Keogh while all other songs were written by Jim Murphy. The artwork for the album was designed byCathal MacHale.
