Direct is the 1988 studio album by Vangelis and is known for its intriguing recording methods. The album was part of Vangelis’ desire to shorten the distance between inspiration and realization of musical composition. This desire is realized by developing a method that allows to compose, arrange, and record simultaneously without the aid of computer pre-programming.

Previously only available as 1LP with 10 tracks, the complete 12 track 1988 album Direct including “Dial Out” and “Intergalactic Radio Station” is now finally available as 2LP-set in all its glory! The 35th Anniversary Edition of this 2LP-set is limited to 1500 individually numbered copies on translucent blue coloured vinyl and includes an 8-page booklet with liner notes.
