In April 2016, BABYMETAL became the FIRST Japanese artists to ever headline at the prestigious Wembley Arena in the UK. In 2019, they performed at the worlds largest music festival, Glastonbury, making headlines around the world.

In 2019, BABYMETAL released their third album, METAL GALAXY, which ranked No.13 on the US Billboard Top 200 (Albums Chart), surpassing their own record for their previous album and ranked No.1 on the Top Rock Albums Chart for the first time ever as an Asian artist!

BABYMETAL continues to bring huge streaming numbers, having 4.3M+ streams globally per week. The band has over 1.9M followers on Instagram and 3.24M subscribers on YouTube. They have gained over 1.2M new social followers over the past year driven by their live performances.

2025 will be another exciting year for the BABYMETAL as theyve already performed at KNOTFEST Australia in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney at the beginning of the year and now the band will embark on their first – ever arena tour in the UK and Europe, covering 12 shows across 8 countries! They are set to perform at The O2 Arena in the UK in May which seats roura 20,000 people. They will be the first Japanese group to headline a show at the iconic venue!
