Previously unreleased on vinyl, Boulevard de Madeleine – The Denny Cordell sessions 1966 features one of Britain’s greatest Rock groups of the 1960s, Moody Blues at their best – This highly sought after selection of sessions from 1966 will be released on classic black vinyl exclusively for RSD2025.Exclusive Record Store Day 2025 edition of this album which gathers together all of the Moody Blues sessions recorded in 1966 with producer Denny Cordell.Following the success of their international hit single ‘Go Now’ and their debut album ‘The Magnificent Moodies’, the band spent 1966 recording a series of sessions at Decca Studios with producer Denny Cordell for a follow up album.Five tracks were issued as singles, with ‘Boulevard de la Madelaine’ becoming a hit in France, but the remaining tracks would be unreleased for nearly 50 years.This Record Store Day release gathers together all of this material on vinyl for the first time and has been cut at Abbey Road Studios.
